Wheat for kibe is one of the most consumed flours in Brazil and an important ingredient in brazilian food culture. It is the main ingredient in Kibe - ("Kibbeh" is a Syrian-Lebanese dish, brought to Brazil by immigrants). Kibe consists of beef and bulgur wheat, seasoned with garlic, onions, mint and cinnamon. The balls are deep-fried and eaten as a snack in Brazil (also in the raw version known as "kibe cru"). Kibe is served with lime slices and tahini sauce for dipping.
