Shipping Information 📦

We recognize how crucial it is for you to receive your purchases promptly and affordably.

To achieve this, we have established strong partnerships with our courier services, ensuring you benefit from the most competitive prices and the swiftest delivery times possible.

Below you can find the price and time estimates for your delivery.

For more detailed information, please refer to our Shipping Policy.

Shipping costs & options

Shipping costs for your order are automatically calculated at checkout, so you’ll know the total before paying. If your order includes heavy, bulky, or fragile items like bottles or cans, additional charges may apply, which will be added after checkout. We aim to include all fees upfront, but some surcharges are collected separately.

For added flexibility, we also provide faster shipping options through UPS Standard® and UPS Express®, with rates determined at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order.

Delivery times

We calculate the delivery deadline as the estimated number of working days needed for your order to reach you.

This estimation starts on the business day following the dispatch of your order. Please note that this timeline does not include holidays in both the origin and destination countries, nor does it account for any potential delays in customs processing, particularly relevant for non-EU countries and territories outside the customs union.

Keep in mind that the provided delivery dates are estimates. Delivery efficiency can vary, especially in larger cities and business districts.

Heavy & bulky items

Orders containing significant quantities of heavy or bulky items, especially liquids and beverages, may incur additional shipping charges.

Heavy or bulky items that exceed the free shipping limit and have not been covered by the additional fee will be excluded from the order and refunded using the same payment method used for the purchase.

Also, certain products, like mineral water or milk, are subject to purchase quantity restrictions. These measures are in place to manage shipping logistics effectively.

Customs Duties and Import Procedures (Non-EU)

As a shopper outside the European Customs Union, it's important for you to be aware of additional responsibilities related to VAT and customs duties. These charges, determined by your destination country, are your responsibility and crucial for the legal importation of goods.

Please note that these fees vary from country to country, and failing to comply with them can lead to penalties. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

For shipments to specific regions (e.g., Brazil), providing a VAT ID or social security number is mandatory.

🇧🇷 Brazil

UPS Express® shipping rates are automatically calculated during checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your package.

Please note that for all sales outside of the European Union, the recipient is responsible for paying any applicable VAT and customs duties. These fees must be paid to the relevant authorities, and failure to do so may result in penalties, fines, and legal consequences. We have no control over these fees and cannot predict the exact amount that will be charged. It is important for the recipient to be aware of their legal obligations and to ensure that all necessary fees are paid.

For shipments to Brazil, it's mandatory to provide a CPF or CNPJ in good standing with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service. In formal importation cases, the consignee (importer) must appoint a customs broker. This broker assists in navigating the import process and ensuring regulatory compliance. The carrier will provide the necessary steps for customs clearance. Be aware that if no action is taken within 90 days of your shipment's arrival, local customs may deem it abandoned.

If the customer or consignee does not respond, proceed with the import, or refuses the shipment, we will issue a refund, deducting any shipping, return, and additional costs incurred. Please note, we cannot guarantee reimbursement of shipping and other expenses if the consignee does not complete the import process. Unclaimed shipments will be returned, and ownership may revert to the sender.

For all inquiries, including tracking and document requests, contact DHL at faleconosco.br@dhl.com. For a thorough understanding of the import process and duties, we recommend consulting the following resources for guidelines on international orders and customs procedures:

🇨🇦 Canada

UPS Express® shipping rates are automatically calculated during checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your package.

Free Shipping from $235.00 CAD (150 EUR)
Duties and Taxes

Customers are responsible for paying any applicable VAT and customs duties to the local authorities. Unpaid fees may result in fines or other legal issues.

We can’t predict or control these charges, so please make sure you are familiar with your local regulations. In some cases, you may need to pick up your package at a local parcel shop and pay any outstanding duties. UPS offers normally online payment options to make this process easier.

Customs processing can sometimes cause delays, which are out of our control.

UPS cannot deliver to a P.O. Box address. All packages require a consignee's contact name and complete street address including apartment, suite or unit number if applicable. The consignee's telephone number should be provided if known.

The importer of record (IOR) is generally the Canadian entity that orders the goods. Typically the IOR pays the duties and taxes. Where a formal release is required, goods are manifested for Customs control purposes. Commercial imports over $2500 CAD and controlled goods of any value are manifested and require a unique business number for the IOR. Manifested casual imports (ie formal entries) use the unique BN of the broker. If the invoice displays different Canadian Sold To and Ship To addresses, the IOR is the Sold To address. A Non-Resident Importer is exempt from this requirement. The broker must have written power of attorney for the IOR. Third-party brokers must be given the import documents for clearance on behalf of their consignees.

Import Restrictions

Food Items: All food products, whether perishable or not, are accepted, regardless of whether they are intended for individual customers or businesses. However, import licenses or declarations may be required. Shipment containing food products will be automatically directed to the government entity ODG, which, in coordination with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA), will carry out the necessary procedures to release the shipment.

Cheese: Can be imported, but if the commercial value exceeds $20 CAD or the weight exceeds 20 kg, the importer will be subject to an additional fee.

Seeds: Will only be accepted with a phytosanitary certificate.

Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages for individual customers cannot be imported into the following states: New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, and Yukon.

For the remaining provinces, the importer must be registered, and the shipment can only contain alcohol.

  • Alberta: Maximum of 45 liters every 90 days.
  • British Columbia: Maximum of 45 liters per day.
  • Quebec: The importer must have an import license for beverages with more than 0.5% alcohol content.
  • Manitoba: No limit.
  • Ontario: Maximum of 45 liters per day, and dispatch fees must be paid in advance of delivery.

🇹🇷 Türkiye

UPS Express® shipping rates are automatically calculated during checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your package.

Import Requirements & Customs Regulations

All goods shipped into Turkey must go through customs clearance. Taxes and duties are calculated based on the product’s classification, value, country of origin, and applicable tariff rules. Importers (recipients) are responsible for complying with all Turkish customs and tax regulations.

Duties & Taxes
  • Value Added Tax (VAT):
Turkey applies VAT on goods imported into the country. The standard rate is typically around 18 – 20 %, but reduced rates may apply to certain agricultural and essential items.
  • Customs Duty:
Customs duty depends on the Harmonized System (HS) code, origin, and trade agreements (e.g., EU-Turkey Customs Union).
  • Special Consumption Tax (SCT):
Certain product categories such as alcohol, tobacco, vehicles, and luxury items are also subject to additional special consumption tax.

Important: The recipient is responsible for paying all applicable VAT, customs duties, and taxes to the Turkish authorities. Unpaid fees can lead to shipment delays, fines, or return of the goods.

Product-Specific Import Conditions

Imported food products often require specific health, control, or phytosanitary certificates to be presented at customs clearance, depending on the type of product and its classification.

  • Coffee & Plant Products: Products like coffee, seeds, and other plant-derived goods require a phytosanitary certificate to be eligible for import into Turkey.
  • Alcoholic Beverages: Alcohol sent via mail or express delivery is subject to customs, duties, VAT, and possibly special consumption tax. Alcohol is not outright prohibited for individual or commercial shipment — but it must meet all tax and regulatory requirements.
  • In addition, certain labeling requirements may apply (e.g., Turkish labeling for wine and spirits).
Customs Clearance & Delivery

UPS or another customs broker may request a Power of Attorney (POA) from the recipient to handle clearance. You may also use your own customs broker if preferred. Turkey has a simplified customs regime for low-value e-commerce imports, but the de minimis threshold is relatively low. For simplified clearance: Products under approx. €30 may qualify for simplified duty calculation with a flat duty rate (e.g., ~30 % for EU-origin goods, ~60 % for non-EU).  Shipments above this threshold typically require formal customs clearance and full duty/VAT calculations.

Customs Declaration & Full Compliance

All imported goods must be declared correctly. Failure to properly declare items, missing documentation, or unpaid duties may result in:

  • Customs retention or seizure of shipment
  • Returns to sender
  • Fines and legal penalties

Customs processing times can vary and are out of our control.

Customer Responsibilities

To help avoid delays:

  • Enter your tax ID number (or Turkish ID) in the “Company” field at checkout if available.
  • Ensure accurate product descriptions, values, and classification codes on all paperwork.
  • Be prepared to respond to customs or carrier inquiries promptly.

In certain situations, the recipient may be required to pick up the package and settle any applicable duties at a nearby parcel shop, while in other cases, the parcel partner may offer online solutions. We recommend contacting the parcel partner for more information regarding their policies and procedures. Please note that customs or import duties may result in delivery delays, and we shall not be liable for such delays.

You will not have to pay anything to the delivery company to receive goods worth less than £135 unless they’re gifts over £39 or excise goods (for example, alcohol and tobacco).

🇺🇸 United States of America

Due to updated U.S. import regulations, all shipments of FDA-regulated products from Portugal or Europe into the United States are now subject to mandatory FDA review and inspection upon entry. This includes food, beverages, cosmetics, dietary supplements, and many other consumer goods, regardless of shipment value or de minimis exemptions. Compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) import requirements — including facility registration, accurate product information, and prior notice filing — is required for all shipments offered for import into the U.S.

As a result of these regulatory requirements, we are currently unable to ship products to the United States. We hope that this situation may change in the future, but under the present import regime there is no viable solution to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery for U.S. destinations.
