Typical product of the Alentejo region consisting of pork shoulder meat, subjected to brine and then minced. Paio is usually eaten raw, uncooked, as a snack, as a snack or to complement a meal. It is considered a shame to cook this type of sausage.
Ingredients: Pork shoulder meat (76%), water (17%), lactose emulsifier E451i, dextrose and antioxidant E316, paprika (red peppers and salt), salt, preservative E250, soya protein, pig's blood and spices.
