Colorific is a natural dye based on the seeds of the "Urucunzeiro", a small tree, very common on the coast and in the Northeast of Brazil. It is also called "Colorau". The word "Urucum" has Tupi Guarani origin and means red. Its flavor is delicate and slightly peppery, being essentially a coloring spice. Therefore, "colorific" can be used in any dish that you want to color with a reddish hue.
Ingredients: Iron- and folic acid-enriched cornmeal* and "urucum" oil suspension (vegetable soybean oil and "urucum" natural dye).
