"Pão de queijo" are cheese buns and very popular throughout Brazil they are made from cassava flour ("polvilho"). The basic ingredients are cassava starch, eggs and cheese. The main characteristics of this product are the crunchiness of the crust and the softness of the dough. It also has a very pleasant taste of cheese and cassava.
CONTAINS GLUTEN. May contain traces of wheat, egg, soy and lactose.
Preparation:
place the entire contents of the package in a container, add 100ml of water and 2 eggs.
mix well until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
shape the dough into small balls, place them in a baking sheet leaving space between them.
bake in the preheated oven (200 degrees) for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
