"Canjica" is a very popular brazilian sweet made with special corn kernels (canjica). The corn is gently cooked with cow or coconut milk, sugar, cinnamon and cloves. Other ingredients like peanuts and condensed milk can be added to taste. There is a similar dish made from cooked corn called "Mazamorra" in Colombia and other Latin American countries.
